only just got up

wish i had my remote thermometer anyways could not get temp to 225
over shot it at start should have closed bk sooner.
went to bed at 2 was 255f got up at 4 it was 240 got up at 6 it was 260
it didnt go out thats one thing! the Brisket was bigger than i thought
and i thought it would have shrunk more but one corner that was over gap
of heatdefector is dry the rest is fine, its at 190 so 1 more hr then going to pull it and foil
looks like dinner might be earlyer than wanted

think i should have started with something a little shorter first than goin for a brisket
for a first go at low and slow. it aint put me off just a learning curve

think i got a little air leak round top airvent but a easy sort , i think this cheap ceramic's
going to be a bargin.
