Okay I have used Russells bloody expensive but gorgeous meat very well packaged and shipped by corier.
The first suckling pig was frozen, well packaged and again couriered. Dunstan fish & game. (see my post on suckling piggie)
I've just taken delivery of a chilled piggie from
www.tastetradition.co.uk but may well have a problem I ordered a 10Kg, as the previous 12Kg, as above, was a tight fit. This one is a 14Kg no extra charge and is (I believe a Berkshire) going to be a tight fit.
Also a selection of ribs & wings from Reading Meatpackers. Both arrived at the same time on the same van and the bonus points go to Meatpackers for packaging althought the piggie arrived at 3deg C so no problems.
Meatpackers are the online part of Berkshire Meat Traders as mentioned in the Fribun ribs topic.
