Anyway, I popped in on them last week (they live about an hour north of me), and they are getting good use out of it. We are planning to combine our pellet purchases, which should get us better prices. The only downside is that it seems to have spoiled them - we were going to an event that included "BBQ" and I heard the mournful comment "but it won't be *real* BBQ, will it, just sausages and burgers".
Tim is actually a quite useful fabricator - I also gave him the stainless steel fittings I'd bought to mount an extra shelf in mine (before going the easy path and buying a GMG removable half-shelf). His current project is turning an old fridge into a cold smoking unit (either using the ProQ cold smoker, or output from the Lil Tex), but I don't think it will be long before he turns his attention to the Lil Tex itself. If he comes up with anything good, I'll let you all know.
