HI, I'm not in the police force despite my intro.
I live just outside Oldham , I used to earn my living as a butcher , now as a baker ( candlestick maker gags at the ready ) , so as you can see i like my food. I have been watching many programmes on the food network and fell in love with southern style BBQ and also went to Memphis for a holiday two years ago , so was slap bang in the middle of the BBQ culture.

I have been wanting a smoker for about 12mths now and have been looking at various sites plus youtube for info on kit, recipes etc. Discovered this site through the Goulden woods site and having been reading the posts on this forum.

I am now transferring myself over to get yer kit out forum to ask the myriad of questions I have.

Hi mate, just joined today myself.

I'm a Manc but living in Wiltshire.

Oh stretchie ,I dint think there is anybody up here . Maybe due to the non bbq weather we get all the time. Im having a Lean to /shelter put on the back of my house so i can smoke in all weathers .

It's difficult to say , as npt everyone posts their location, but from comments I'd say you were far from alone in being from "oop North"
