Hi all,

Being a lover of all things meaty and constantly salivating over Man Vs Food led my wife to buy me a copy of BBQ Bible for Christmas. Got my interest straight away and a bit of research led me here - so glad I found this site, masses of information from people who obviously love and know their stuff!!!

I've had a Weber 57cm One Touch silver for a couple of years but never tried smoking or any sort of low n slow before. Bought myself a Maverick ET-73 and a chimney starter a few weeks ago but didnt have the weather until this weekend when I attempted my first effort (I'll post the result a bit later - along with a few questions!!)

Hoping to learn more about BBQ'ing, maybe get out to some events this year and meet a few folk too.

Neil

Welcome to the forum, bring on the questions and the photos of your efforts. Definitely recommend getting to an event there is one in Bristol called Grillstock and loads of others further afield, I think the first public British BBQ Society event is in May
