Thoroughly recommended T&G. Been buying from them for a while, when they used to be The East London Steak Co.
The "Turner" is the guy who helped start Hawksmoor and Pit Cue in London.

This is exactly what I'm planning on ordering for my birthday party bbq in a couple of weeks and first proper brisket cook. I'll be watching the cook like a hawk as I'm eager for it to turn out well. Can't wait.

That's a really nice looking piece of brisket, almost a shame to cook it

Gentlemen,
£8 a kilo for Brisket? Is this brisket off of an unicorn? Think this may be ok for central London types but away from your fancy metropolis Brisket does not come in at £8 a kilo......plus postage......
Find yourself a tame local butcher!
Cheers

What would you ask for to insure you get a full packer?

Good day,
I am very blessed with our local butcher, I asked him for an whole brisket, flat and point and left in one piece flat.
What I got was an whole 6.5kg brisket, he trimmed the fat back to a normal level and away we went.
But they are an proper old school butchers, floor space about 5ft square, queue out of the door and everyone known by name, I am indeed blessd!
Cheers
