Posted: 26 May 2014, 18:12I am afraid I couldn't cook it whole, couldn't even get it onto a spit at 18Kg/40lb.
So had to cut it in half and put it on the Genesis. The beer can chicken and smoked beans went on the WSM, ABTs, moinks and goinks (turkey version of the moink) went on the OTP and the spice chicken wings went on the Smoky Joe.
All served with a creamy coleslaw, salad and home made sauces.
The cheek and jowl was delicious and the tongue was nice, but a bit chewy. All in all not a bad first attempt.
