Fish & Meat on the same smoker?

I only have one proper smoker (my trusty ProQ) and am keen to experiment with fish at some point. However I had heard somewhere that it is not a good idea to smoke fish in the same smoker as you smoke meat as it can affect the flavour in a not good way. Anyone done it? Anyone have any advice?

Same as Dave, except on the WSM.

This might seem really obvious, but watch what you put over what. Depending on the fish, any drips might seriously affect the flavour of what is underneath. If possible, stick to a single grill.

Rob.
By the time I put the fish on (on the top grate). The meat on the bottom grate has generally been foiled. The fish doesnt normally take more than 30 mins and is generally on a plank.

Good call Derek, hadn't considered the cooking times, just the thought of fishy flavoured ribs turned my stomach!
