How to get a long burn OTP

Hi guys,
Im thinking of doing an overnight cook of pork shoulder.
I have managed a 5 to 6 hour cook before using the snake minion method with the snake 3/4 of the way round the grill.
I just wondered if there is another way (minion method) of getting an even longer burn?
Thanks
Andy

I bought a tin from asda as a drip pan, then put unlit coals in a U shape around it (2 on bottom, 1 on top). Put in about 6/7 lit coals. This burned for at least 7 hours and had about 1/4 of the U to go.
Make sure the tin isn't too big as it can make the "bends" of the U too narrow and they can burn out.

Thanks Geordie,
I have been thinking of ways to get more time and have struggled to get past the 5 to 6 hour mark due to the length of the snake i can build but to leave enough of a space for the meat so as not to have it too close to the lit coals.
I normally place the meat to one side and have the coals at the other for indirect, i usually do PP for the first few hours and then add a couple of racks of ribs later on so they tend to finish around the same time but find i don't have enough room on the grill to fit them on if i cook them in the middle! (coals at either side).
Im thinking of making/buying a hover grill for my Q so i can put the PP on the main grill and the ribs on the top grill to give me more room and see how that goes!
Im beginning to see the limitations or the OTP and maybe thinking of getting a WSM as you get much longer burn times from them, and using the OTP to do just grilling or one off's!
