I used BGE charcoal and some plum wood;

I also hooked up my party guru just to read the temp at the grill level and confirm that I had calibrated the lid thermometer correctly (boiling water method). I was again amazed to see how accurate this all was.
I went for 3 different rubs on teh ribs for this experiment (I also did 40 wings to keep everyone happy) -

I also did a couple of racks in the Jalapeno Bacon rub that I love (these were for me later as "left overs"

Money Rub 2 hours (ish) in an ready to wrap;

Spicey Apple rub 2hours (ish) in and ready to wrap;

I forgot to take a pic of the Simply Marvelous Season 2 rubbed rack.
Back on the Egg with the grill extender and the wings on there already cooking;

1.5 hours later and out of the foil with a quick 20mins back in the smoke before taking them all off and serving;

Spicy Apple had an awesome colour and lives up to it's name (not one for the kids);

Money was the more flavoursome of the rubs with less reliance n heat and went down extremely well all around;

Simply Marvelous Season 2 was somewhere in the middle. a nice rub with not too much heat but lacking the flavour of the Money Rub;
All in all some good ribs but just so impressed with the Egg. Loads of coal left, ambient temp never went above 4 degrees C and never had an issue with a steady temp and no real messing around with vents even when the wind picked up.
