So, I'm looking to do some more work on my UDS this weekend (get the drilling etc out of the way).
Trying to think about how to get a cooking grate thermometer installed (but which can be removed easily for removal of charcoal grate). Some kind of opening about 20-30mm below the cooking grate for the probe to push through.
What thermometers have people used in the past? Looking for something around 200-300mm (to get into the middle of the grate). Capable of reading up to 350F (I guess).
Any help/pointers would be wonderful!
PS I have a Maverick, but was hoping for a semi fixed solution too.
