Hi

I'm looking to get a Weber 57cm BBQ, seems that there is a One Touch, a One Touch Premium and a Master Touch.

Price aside, are these basically they same model except for a few bells 'n whistles ? Or is there more of a significant differfence that I am not aware of ?

Thanks

They are all the same base kettle with as you say bells and whistles. I'd get the cheapest one with an ash pan catcher rather than the basic aluminium plate which sits on the legs, really annoying watching ash blow around in a windy day!!

Another vote for the one touch premium - as JEC has mentioned the ash catcher is worth having.

Hello chap,
I purchased my OT when full of ale after one of the cads and bounders on this forum posted an link for a £49 end of season bargain. I have been utterly delighted with it, the upgrades are bell and whistletastic but not worth the extra lucre imho.

Many folk advocate the ash catcher, but I have never noticed any ash blowing about the garden with my simple set up.

Buy the basic all the extras can be added save for the lid thermometer, but as I read another site today the author remarked that he seldom wishes to eat the dome lid so doesn't really care what temp it is :)

Cheers
Tiny

Simple but the roses tin works as an ash catcher. I found the basic catcher acted as a launch pad myself but other than the cool touch handle on the lid vent when I'm too lazy to put a glove on the simple ones the ticket. Would love to have the 67cm now for the extra grill space. Thermometers in lids do not appear on the priority list.

I have the OTP and wouldn't be without the ash tin on the bottom.
It makes for a very easy clean up and definately no ash being blown around.
Look on line and you'll get one for a good price, i paid around the £150 mark for mine and havn't looked back.
