We're always happy to answer questions from the public at all the events we do, we'll let people know if it's not a good time and when's the best time for them to come back and try so samples

Hi,
We entered for the first time last year. We're all novices, but we found most people friendly and helpful. We're trying again this year. It's a good place to learn about smoking, and a great weekend.

Hi Martyn

I am not sure of the full Manchester line up but apart from myself there will also be:
Toby - British Bulldog BBQ
Ed & Em - Bunch of Swines
Steve - Jedi Swine Tricks
Charlie - Team Smokin' Penguin

We were given 2 tickets to the manchester grillstock for Christmas, not sure we'll be able to get someone to watch the kids so may end up bringing a 2 year old and a 3 year old with us. They both love daddy's pulled pork though so they should be fine :)

I'm tempted by Grillstock Manchester, but I went last year and was horrified by the food prices. £8 for a shredded brisket bun with no toppings and no sides... Youch  Hopefully it'll be better this year

I've been to both Manchester and Bristol and much prefer the Bristol one. It's a bigger event with more to see. We always take the kids with us and they both preferred Bristol as well. Yep the food prices can be high but that's part of the course these days with festivals.
