First proper smoke on WSM

Postby Wid3y » 15 Apr 2014, 10:14

So followed some advice on here following my first attempt at chicken which was awesome.

Decided to fire the beast up at the weekend for my first attempt with ribs..

Went as follows:

Pre rub for an hour to rest
3 hours smoking
1.5 hours wrapped
45 mins with sauce

Few pics of my efforts.. I did find that the wrap made a bit of the bark soften quite a lot. On the whole very happy with my first attempt...[

Looks lovely. And just before my lunch is due... now I'm starving. :D

Looking good. Just grabbed a pork shoulder on the way home to cook tomorrow night.

Are they baby backs ? They look like they are from a bit further down ?

What were they like ? I found 2-1-1 to be good times for baby backs
