Couldn't you make one? (I couldn't mind you but that's just me)

We used one of these at Ribstock last weekend and the build quality was good, but there are a few bits with the design that they've not thought about properly. an example of this is the handle on the lid is made of metal and welded onto the lid but when cooking this gets hot and you need to use a tea towel to open it or burn your hand on it (which we did).
My only reservation about these is the cost, as i feel they're expensive for what they are.

Seems overly expensive to me. There seems to be a proliferation of barrel based bbq's now:

Sadly the import on these would make this very expensive by the time it lands in the UK

Yeah, they sponsored the event so everyone had one in the small space and everyone was heating up their ribs or sauces on them.
Ribstock was a better event than the year before, for both the public and the competitors. We were helping another competitor out again this year, but we'd like to see if we can get a spot to cook it ourselves as it is a lot of fun, but it's also very busy and hard work. Me and the Mrs were both knackered on Sunday.

You should mate, contact Adam (

them events are really good, went to the Craft Beer Battle one a few weeks back, same sort of deal but with beers.
