Hi, I'm Jason from Liverpool.
Currently using my phone for this as just moved house, so excuse the brevity of my first post!

I currently have a weber 1 touch charcoal grill. It's brilliant, but I find it a bit of an effort to clean and have a "quick" dinner on.

Been looking at gas options. What's your thoughts on these?

The weber is at the top of my budget, but I like the quality.

Thoughts, other suggestions? Thanks much!

At the moment I would suggest going into a B&Q or Homebase rather than looking online, they are clearing out their stock and last time i was there had pretty decent gas BBQ's for about £70!!

True. The b&q one I linked was a 4 burner one. Does that have any real benefits? Most food wants to be cooked relatively slowly I guess, so 4 seems a lot?
Just wondering what more experienced people may think.
Can't help but think weber will be great, but the other gets lots of good reviews.

More burners generally means more flexibility for cooking using different styles, 1 for low and slow, 2 for indirect, 4 for grilling. Buy the best you can afford my own experience has found you only end up regretting it and buying what you should have bought in the first place!!

Hi - thanks for the replies.
I have a keyboard now - and have posted a "Hello", on the intro's board, which gives a little more context to my search for a BBQ.

The problem I have is that I really dont know what is best.
4 Burners sounds good - giving greater flexability, but the Webber is a good Quaility Brand? Not to Say the Bloomer B&Q one is rubbish.....Has anybody god a B&Q BBQ?
The Homebase link for an Outback looks pretty decent too and at Half Price....

I'm looking now because this time of year they're all heavily discounted, but that makes it more confusing as you normally get what you pay for. With the heavy discounting, its less clear where the quality is...?

Actually Its a little late in the season, as most shops have already done their sales and cleared stock out. Online seems the way to go at the moment unless I want a 2 burner from tescos for £10 :S

I'd go with the Weber the 25 year warranty is a massive added extra, you won't need it much but when you do their customer service is top notch!! Whilst it's only 2 burners they are really adjustable and can slow cook when you want it too, a friend of mine has had one for around 5 years and it's always good when you get invited around for dinner!! It also came top in Which's review a Best Buy

I'm also looking at the 4 burner gas BBQ's with a hood as im after flexibility in cooking and smoking.

I want the 4 burner one so i can do indirect cooking having the 2 outer burners only on.
