Smokeyblokey what are you throwing on the grill then? Weather dont look to great for me here so im not gonna make solid plans. im gonna do it nativ indian style and watch the skys haha

I am hoping the weather is good sunday so i can go to a bbq thing near me i think Keith is going. and i hope on monday i get two or three good hours so i can finish off part one of my grill... im dying to upload photos on here but it'll have to wair till its finished!

Its a long shot but it just might work........

I have a couple of racks of meaty beef ribs I intend to give the oak and hickory treatment tomorrow
I have a duck which is going to get some Chinese styling and a touch of pecan smoke on Sunday
Monday has me leaning toward a pizzafest.

all this to be accompanied by the cricket on the radio, England if it ever stops raining in the Grim north, or Hampshire if it continues. First weekend in 6 I am not playing so dedicating it to meat based goodness,

Sun is all I need.....oh and beer sweet nourishing beer!

ive just had a pizza and now have cracked open a cider. beautiful sweet golden nectar!! cant be beaten. weather is shite here in the midlands and according to the weather man this rain is here to stay!

ive not tried smoking with oak yet. i read it can be quite strong, but then i also read that it cant be beaten and that some people use only oak wood with no charcoal or anything.ive got so much experementing to be doing.

im on a three week count down anyway, this time in three weeks i'll be up the road at donninton park camping at the download rock festival, crap bbqs, expensive food, great company, cider and some amazing bands!

8lb between two of us............... No there is SOME leftover. Sarnis tomorrow, some to take to work on Tuesday (otherwise I will get lynched) and the rest in the freezer.

Im a glutton with no will power, i dont think i could be thrifty and leave some for the next day let alone for sandwiches,

Im off pub in a bit to have some drinks and see what this smoke on the canal thing is near me that Keith is on about, and hopefully see Keith too
