Just received my door, thanks Steve (been away so it might have been here a while).

Hi Steve,
Also got my door last week so sorry for the late reply! It's so awesome that I had to eat my cornflakes off of it this morning.
I managed to use it properly on Sunday when I smoked an 8lb pork butt and I swear it tastes better because of the new door.
Thanks and let me know if you need extra for postage.

It probably did as the heat is retained for longer.
Sad to say they don't do doors for the ProQ (Napolean Apollo in the US) apparantly they don't need any mods
(ducks behind cover waiting for the abuse

Why are the ducks behind cover, and why are they waiting for the abuse?

Chaps, I've been flying under the BBQ radar for a while (and forgetting to post the last of the doors out
)
With regards to postage, I've honestly forgotten how much everyone's was. If you had one door it was a couple of quid, up to whoever it was that had one large and one small door for which Royal mail shafted us to the tune of £8.
Either way, I can't remember who owes what so if you feel guilty about not paying for postage, next time you see a Macmillan charity collection, stick a couple of quid in and think of me

I finally got my door on, looks great and a seriously thick and industrial design. And it covers up all that nomex gasket.

talking of which I replaced the lid gasket so that the lid sits on top of it rather than in it. Isn't as effective but I don't have to practically tear the handle off to get the lid off.
I also drilled out and bolted through that handle, it was about to come off.

here's the final repair

Hi Steve,
Sorry it's late, but thanks - the door arrived. Looks great, and I was going to put it in place this weekend but the fates have intervened and we can't get to France where the WSM lives, so it'll have wait a few more weeks.
All the best
Peter
