Just been to Booker and was told I need to register separately. It is strictly wholesale only. Might have to get my wife to register or something.
A relaxed and friendly place to hang out and chat about BBQ

They don't look too bad at all. The ones I saw were really scalped, no different to supermarket ones. That's all they had in my Makro only 1 option.stretchie_ wrote: C- £30 - Effing huge racks, I've only had one box of these, and it had three and half racks, so roughly 3kg PER RACK
These are from a £22 box
So, I would say buy a box of £22, and be prepared to do 10 racks of ribs (you can freeze them once cooked) and make your own mind up, I don't think you'll regret it matey
Yeah sorry i asked in makro and they said bring booker card and photo id and we'll register youessexsmoker wrote:Just been to Booker and was told I need to register separately. It is strictly wholesale only. Might have to get my wife to register or something.
Ahh. The lady in Booker said they give out Makro cards to anyone but not at booker. Hopefully wife can join.TakingtheBrisket wrote:Yeah sorry i asked in makro and they said bring booker card and photo id and we'll register youessexsmoker wrote:Just been to Booker and was told I need to register separately. If you are ever in the London area - i'd recommend popping in for a gander. It is a very very professionally run operation (certainly more than Hoo Hing), and they have fantastic in-store restaurants. Top class and all 5 star rated by the food standards agency. They sell beef ribs and brisket there too - best prices i've seen.essexsmoker wrote:No Wing Yip near me for miles.
