Hi All
Try large catering SS collanders, washing machine drums, old beer kegs, the bottom parts of old BBQ's,just cut down the legs, old stock pots can be drilled and legs fitted.
Think outside the box, if it will work, use it.
Experiment.

I like the idea of the colander. Just don't know how big, this is one of the biggest I can find doing a quick search.

I know I'll have to drill extra holes but I can do that when I drill the drum.

I'll have a look for you but it might not work out much cheaper that just getting that big piece, postage aint cheap for big things. What size are you after?

maybe measure the diameter of your drum, which is probably around 560mm and go from there. If you got a big one, you could always use less fuel if filling it was too much. As Cyderpig has also mentioned in another post, it doesn't have to be round; this helped me out a lot and opened up a lot more options for me which is why I was able to spot the potential of that cage I found and now use. Hope this helps.

Yeah that's what I thought it all depends on the postage costs.

The place that I bought it from said it was 24 inches / 60cm so pretty close to what you said. But those measurements way vary so ill give it a measure.

I'm trying to thing of different things I could use. My imagination isn't the best


Edit: Thinking outside of the box, I don't know how sturdy it would be and if its usable but this is made from steel and powder coated apparently. With a few snips would it be okay?

Ignore previous posts, just bough a washing machine drum for a tenner, should do the job nicely.
