Would you say the landmann ofset is the same - a waste? I'll just get a pro q or a weber if i need to. I dont want to buy twice you see. I might hang around in the forsale area see if anyone has something they dont use any more.

Those Landmann's look a bit crap to me too. Thing with a stick burner is that even the best ones need a lot of attention to cook well. You're talking about feeding them logs every hour. Get a bad one and you're in for a torrid time keeping temps stable.

You just need to make the call which style of cooking you want to prioritise. If cost is a major issue you might consider knocking a uds up and buying a grill.

I do actually have a gas grill. I guess i could keep that and get a bullet.

Keeping your gas grill and buying a bullet would be one good option.

A UDS is an ugly drum smoker, they can be built for next to nothing and they cook great BBQ. There's a thread on here with info.
