I suppose I'm just lazy really, I like to be able to grab a handful of ready cut chunks when I need them. One day I'll get around to buying a few nets of logs, as it seems seriously cheaper and I've been looking for a genuine excuse to buy an axe, other than I just want one.

A man needs no excuse to buy an axe although I did manage to justify that purchase. Along with my machete..
