Keen bbq'er, novice to 'low and slow' smoking

Thats good advice, ive also drilled some holes in the fire pan as I saw advised, I need to look in to sealing it up next

I did that too, started with a few small holes (figuring it's easier to add more/bigger holes if needed) but it didn't seem to make a vast difference on the last cook. Will add some more for this weekend though.
