I have no doubt that if I was starting afresh, that would be the way I would go.

Having said that, I got my Traeger at a very good price (it being "slightly marked"), and I am still getting a buzz out of tinkering with the insides. If I had the GMG, there would be no need to do so, and I would probably be too frightened to, anyway.

Well impressed with the GMG units they look awesome (not a word I use often!!), now all I need to do is find somewhere to put it

Cheers all, my mate is looking at gas units due to price however I'm gonna check out the gmg stuff and upgrade from my pro q. Thanks for your advice

Thought I'd update people, went to see a nice man called Nick at American BBQ in Hemel and decided to buy a Daniel Boone, nice bit of kit.

My mate is looking round for a gas unit (fool), although im trying hard to flog him my Pro Q smoker
