How seasoned is it? Would we buy it and need to season it or is it already seasoned?

I'd spend around a pound a kilo delivered - but I would want guarantees that the wood is a certain species and is suitable for cooking with.

I guess the majority of the cost would be the delivery - wood is a dense, bulky material.

Good luck Mate!

Thats a good question(that i haven't thought about)
I would have to look into that. I guess i would have to look into seasoning it.
storage could become a problem though.

Will it be split /chunked?
Hi Doc
he gave me some apple wood and some oak the other day and he said he was getting me some more oak(he's storing it where he works for me)
not sure how much he can get me. i just asked for as much hardwood as he could get.
we did discuss chipping it, or i would probably split it if i ws going to season it.

I buy chunks from garden and leisure.com. They sell a shed load of weber stuff. Free UK delivery on all orders over £30, anything under that its £3.99. Super fast deliver to N.Ireland too. They sent the second bag of hickery chunks free of charge, that's 10lb of wood for £3.99 :D . I've bought greenhouses from them before, can't fault them at all
