Apologies for coming late to this one old chum, I fretted a while as I knew the answer lay withing my mental grasp but couldn't quite get it.....I thought of offering up the inferno approach but this seemed inelegant.......from the man that once had a fully assembled 57cm ivory kettle in the living room for 6 weeks



Take it with you into the shower old chap, lovely hot water source from above drive the gunk out of the intake holes, and the spray on an lead will allow you to reach the corners in the bottom, its bloody genius old fruit, apologies for not coming up with it before....

You know Tiny, I might just do that if it's looking to be too hard to clean outside. Gonna go in with a bucket of hot water and a brush. The ballache of dragging it inside and up the stairs (I'm not a big fella) I think will be justified by the ease of using hotter water to soften the crud.

Have been putting it off for the last week or so but the weather is good so I should pull my finger out and get it done this week. While I'm out in the garden I might finally build my cajun microwave. Though I have to say, I really do prefer the term "redneck oven".
