Beef short rib Sauce

Good old British Beef, you can't beat it! Of course Brisket is the American BBQ favorite but recipes for any cut are welcome here.

Beef short rib Sauce

Guys and Girls

I have just got some amazing beef short ribs and I am going to smoke them with some rub on for about 8 hours over apple and Oak wood but what I want to know is does anyone have an amazing BBQ sauce recipe that would go with these as the last thing I want to do is mess them up as they look amazing. If you don't mind sharing you secrets that is? :)

Regards

To be honest if the rub is good and the cook properly done as it will be, I'd leave them alone. They will be moist and uncious, and gelatinous and IMHO a sauce wouldn't do them justice, just some nice mustard for a gentle heat if anyone requires it.
But this forum of ours is nothing if not diverse so doubtless someone will be able to help you. :D

Thanks Keith

I am going to try out the JP’s Custom Smoke Beef Rub that I got at Brans Hatch as it tasted good in just oil I am hoping that it will be a amazing on the short ribs.

I think that may be the one Steve (Jedi Swine Tricks) tried on his Brisket but I wouldn't swear to it I know he tried one of theirs.

Good luck and don't forget the pics.
