Amazing ribs chili powder

Anyone tried this recipe from the Amazing Ribs website before? Have just bought a load of dried chillies and fancy making a batch


Signature American Chili Powder Recipe

Ingredients
4 tablespoons powdered ancho chiles (dried poblanos)
2 teaspoons dried pasilla chile powder
2 teaspoons chipotle chile powder
4 teaspoons sweet paprika
1/4 teapoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried mexican oregano, crumbled
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Made a chilli using leftover pulled pork and its was really good, I'm gunna tweak it a little bit though as it wasn't hot enough for me but the flavour was good and you could taste the different layers of chillies, I'll probably add more chipotle and some New Mexico red chili powder to spice it up a little more

Doesn't exist in our house ;)

Where do you get your dried chillies from?

I've just bought all the stuff for this recipe from The Asian Cookshop, gonna give it a go this weekend.

Sorry for the late reply, I got them from chillies on the web they were a good price, I've used the recipe quite a bit now in different rubs and chilli's and really like it
