I had the rare oppertunity to get together with some fellows who I respect as Major Pit Builders and friends.
From left to right----- Walter ( Stump ) McDowell -- Stumps Smokers, Jamie Geer -- Jambo Pits and Jay Curry -- Spicewine Ironworks.

For the rest of us brits who are interested:

Stumps Smokers
http://www.stumpssmokersinc.com/

Jambo Pits
http://www.jambopits.com/

And you'll find Spice Wine in Jay's signature :)

Some very impressive kit there. I'd be interested to know what you think of David Klose pits. I've been lusting after one of those for a while but some of the Jambo pits have really caught my eye.

Dave is a GREAT guy and a good friend. His pits are of the highest quality and deserves a place amongst the best of the best.
