...who's decided over the past 48 hours that they'd like to try horse.

Good new exotic meat supplier over at Amazon UK - just search 'Great Exotic Foods' in 'Grocery'.

When I worked picking grapes back in the 80's we were often served up Steak Cheval.

The most popular item appears to be Horse Burgers :-)

Check this out:

http://www.exoticmeats.co.uk/horse-burgers.html
IMPORTANT NOTICE: All of our horse burgers contain horse meat, we do not add beef to our horse burgers.
I think Tesco are missing a trick, they should put those burgers back on the shelf with a sticky label on them which says:

"Now with 29% more horse!"

Nowt wrong with cheval, it's better for you then beef!! It dose annoy me when people get so funny about eating different animals. If I was given dog, cat or even monkeys boll--ks, I would give it a go.

Quite right, I have eaten some weird & wonderful things in the past, however I would draw the line at an Indonesian favourite a family friend was offered whilst on National Service. The native couldn't understand why when he ate eggs & chicken why he would turn his nose up at embryo
We had horse on a school trip years ago, then went "pony trekking". For some reason 2 of the teachers didn't fancy going, I don't think any of my school chums balked at either the food or the trip
