Glad you can calibrate the thermometer looks like you've still got a bargain and top quality service, it would make a good ceramic cooker for competing with I reckon, at the price it wouldn't matter too much if you abused it.

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a Tru-Tel BBQ thermometer. I wanted the black dial, 3 inch one with a 2 and a half inch stem.
kck.com quoted $36 for shipping to the UK which seemed high.
