French’s® Grilled Tuna Sandwiches with Olive Aoili

  • Grilled Tuna Sandwiches with Olive Aoili
Prep Time: 10 mins  Cooking Time: 10 mins  Servings: 4 Ingredients 30 g French’s® Smooth & Spicy Mustard 112 g mayonnaise 60 g Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 4 ciabatta rolls, split and toasted 1 x 110g packet rocket leaves 1 medium red onion, sliced 4 (100 g each) fresh tuna steaks, 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick Directions [*]Combine mustard, mayonnaise, kalamata olives, and garlic and stir to blend. Cover and chill. [*]Grill tuna fillets on greased rack over medium-high heat, to desired doneness. [*]Spread just enough olive mixture to cover the bottom half of each roll. Top with the rocket, red onion, and tuna fillet. Close with top half of roll. [*]Serve sandwiches with remaining sauce on the side. BBQ Tip
  • Grilling fish: Try and buy a steak or fillet that is evenly cut. This will prevent the thin part of the fillet from drying out while the thicker part cooks. If you have a fillet that is uneven consider cutting it in two and putting the thick half on first.  Brush the fish with fresh lemon juice while grilling. This will prevent the fish from sticking, and will add flavour and keep the fish moist.
