My method on cooking Rabbit.
Shoot, gut, skin said bunny.
Wash with salt water and pat dry.
Rub with oil and your favourite rub then wrap with bacon.
Set smoker to 225-250 and smoke quite heavily for 2 hours.
Remove rabbit from smoker and foil with a splash of cider(large) and add some of your fav BBQ sauce.
Stoke up smoker to 300-325 and cook to internal temp of 150f.
Vent foil and remove rabbit
Finish said rabbit on the grill basting with Jus from foil, or more BBQ sauce to glaze, internal temp at thickest part of leg should be 160f.
Joint rabbit and serve with salad ,slaw and bread.
