Hello everyone, I'm martin from swindon and i love to bbq all year round. Sod what the neighbours think. Lokking forward to checking out some of these competitions this summer.

Hey there Martin,

Good to see another Swindon BBQ'er.

I share your views on not worrying what the neighbours think. I saw one of my neighbours last night when was heading into the garden to light my smoker, i'm sure they think I'm mad but oh well.

Also Keep an eye out for Doctor Sweet Smoke on here. Al also lives in Swindon, i'm sure he'll say hi himself when he see's your post.

If you need help in getting cuts of meat locally, or need any help on best places to get charcoal let us know.

I hoping to get into real slow cooking this year, rather than just the average barbecue. I might have to build one i guess.

I will take you up on that charcoal offer, thanks.

Dr Sweetsmoke...i lived in the john murry building for 16 years...moved to one of those new houses in horsham rd, park south...where i was finally able to start bbqing after 16 years.
