bbq madness in kent continues all year round
they've stopped selling coal at the supermarket so though this would be a good place to find some links
I ended up using 'swallow aquatics' over 50squid and delivery is free so they can find me
mostly I use a largish cast iron fire pit (1m) with custom stainless steel grill
brinkmann smoker
brick bult in bbq I use with a rotisserie
and a weber portable
coal/briqquettes I like to use both, briquettes keep the flames down and I like to leave a chicken or a slow cook pork or duck on at the end for sandwiches salads the next day.
I think large lumpwood is the best but you only get a few big lumps per bag so I squirrel mine away for special occasions
but depends on what you are cooking, the distance your grill is or if you use a grill at all.
been hot smoking for a few years now and had alot of fun , I tend to use dry rubs and will be looking to see what the debates are like dry/wet and mops. Also I'm interested onto moving into cold smoke which I've not tried.
also Like to see some extreme bbq weather pics
