Hi - I am looking at the options out there with regards to investing in a Kamado style grill. I've obviously done a lot of reading up on the BGE and Kamado Joe, but have also come across a German designed (Chinese made) alternative called the Monolith Grill, has anybody got any opinions/experience with these? Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Toby - I have struggled to find one and see the prices etc in the UK? You text me the number of your contact, but unfortunately I never had a response. Do you have any links etc, where I can see the spec/prices? Many thanks, Dave

I've used Monolith, Big Green Eggs, Kamado Joe's & Primo's.

Monolith, Big Green Eggs & Kamado Joe's are all very similar and all do the same thing. Primo's are a little different due to their shape and i like the flexibility and i really like the porcelain coated grates as i've burnt through and rusted up lots of chromed/stainless steal grates on other grills over the years.

Admittedly, i've just bought a Monolith, but i got a deal that made it so cheap couldn't turn it down, otherwise i'd have bought a Primo

Thanks....I've been in contact with Monolith and as they are quite competitive in price was what instigated my question

Interested to know why you chose KJ over Monolith. Both seem pretty similar in price so what were the decision making factors?
