got given the Pitt Cue Co book and Smoking Meat, by Jeff Phillips, yesterday from the wife & kids for my b'day. From first skim through they both seem like great books. The Pitt Cue book has a heavy bias towards recipes (what you'd expect from a cookbook I guess!!) and Smoking Meat also has a lot of info about equipment & techniques.

Both are well illustrated with loads of pics etc. I think that they'll get a lot of use this summer. I'd recommend anyone interested in reading more about the fine art of BBQ giving them a look...

Got the Pit Cue book. I also love the Hawksmoor book, but its a more generalised cook book with a good deal of meat info and techniques.
