bbq aluminium grill pan

These things are great to use in your smoker. They allow the smoke through and they also collect all the juices. Can't waste all that juice now ;)

anyone come across any heavy duty ones which are suitable for the dishwasher?

Fraid not buddy. I have seen baking cooling racks used inside a normal gastronorm tray though. It may give you the same effect and a re-useable system.

where'd you get it Al?......it needs to work like the cheap-o's, channels to collect the juices and slots to allow the smoke through ;)....I could use them all over my smoker and pour the meat juice over the meat once its cooked
