I've had a DB for about 6 months now and it is the mutts nuts :)

No more faffing around with charcoal and vents and sleepless all night cooks.

This is true 'fire and forget' cooking, with perfect results every time.

I've used it every weekend since getting it and cooked ribs, chicken, brisket, pork butt, turkey, wings, rib joints, salmon, chilli, beans, and even bread and pizzas in it!

Easy to use, easy to clean.

I use GMG Premium Gold pellets, which works out at about 50p per hour for low and slow cooking. More if you wack up the heat to grill with it or cook pizza.

I love it and cannot recommend it enough.

You will not be disappointed.

I recommend you get a cover if you're not able to store it in a garage or shed when not using it.

Looks fab, have fun with it. I am waiting for a Jim Bowie. Does anyone else have a J, B? I'm sure that they're the same just different sizes.

Just had a thought Tommo, the pelletheads site has got a massive D.B GMG forum. Adam

Yeah loads of info just for GMGs on pelletheads.
Most interesting mod I saw lately was using the front shelf kit internally to create a 2nd shelf when needed with fold away supports. Havent gotten up the courage to drill holes in my little beauty just yet though. Maybe next year when I trade up.

I bought the upper rack and it's winter coat at the same time, so i'll be using that. It's smaller than the main grills but more than enough for my needs. I saw that mod as well for the folding supports. 2 stainless bolts each side would also act as shelf supports and probably easier to do here in the UK. I'll be using it fully on Thursday as friends are coming round and I need to decide whether to get the brisket or a chunk of rib roast out of the freezer.
