Mine too - I love it! It actually grinds!, and the presentation box it came in is great. Might get some for gifts.

Yes two spare jars and they are air-tight. The jars are made from glass, with plasticky/rubber bits for the top and bottom. I still haven't figured out what to put in the other two.

Any suggestions of an interesting mix welcome :)

The ceramic grinders are great though - beats the pants off my older wooden one with a stainless steel grinders, or the Jamie Oliver squeeze one which was given to me as a gift (it broke in - what, 5 minutes - and landed in the bin).

I currently have chilli flakes in one, to use like pepper etc when I want a bit of heat. In the other I have cumin seeds, Mexican oregano and garlic granules. I use these a lot in day to day cooking as I frequently cook Mexican/cuban dishes.

In the other I have a mix of green, pink and black peppercorns. I love the lid on the grinder that allows you to pre grind and measure your spice without having to grind over a steaming pot, keeping the moisture out.

This evening I made Enchiladas and switched between all three as needed. Love it.

Another one I was thinking was lemon pepper.

Oven dry some lemon rinds and add them to black peppercorns in the same pot, grind as needed.
