Has anyone seen this device and would BBBQS allow these in competitions?

I dont see any reason why not, but for the cost you may want to look at a Bradley Smoker http://www.bradleysmoker.co.uk/ gives you the option to cold smoke too. This is a genuine opinion although the British BBQ Society will be selling the Bradley range in a few weeks.

Isn't the heat source electric on Bradleys?

If so they wouldn't be allowed for competition would they?

I was thinking more of hot and cold smoking at home rather than for comps, by the time you pay shipping on the Weber Mod it becomes expensive.

Yeah I get that but I look at that Weber mod and see competition pellet pooper functionality and it's still probably a bit cheaper than a Traeger.

What we need is a value for money pellet pooper for the UK ;)

A very expensive way of cooking a single brisket, but adding a ProQ weber stacker may make it worth while, but then you are entering traeger money. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PRO-Q-BBQ-PROQ-WS ... 53dcb2081d
