Barbecoa

Postby British BBQ Society » 30 Oct 2010, 11:27

As most of you will be aware, due to open on November 3rd in the One New Change building opposite St Paul's, Barbecoa will be a joint venture from Jamie Oliver and Adam Perry Lang from Daisy May's BBQ USA in New York. The restaurant will specialise in barbecued meat cooked in open pits, robata grills, tandoors and wood-burning ovens.

I will be reviewing the restaurant week beginning 8th November and will post here, inlcuding pictures upon my return, I have found what I believe to be the menu, it is not a BBQ restaurant as we know it, but the menu looks pretty good. Menu includes

Starters
Baby Back Ribs, Salmon Gravadlax, Beef Tartare, Crab Cake,Roast Squash Salad, Roast Baby Veg Salad, Concertina Calamari, Crispy Pig Cheeks, Charred Hot Wings, San Daniele Prosciutto.

Selection of Mains
Pork
Pulled Shoulder, Double Thick Chop, Belly, Chipotle Chilli
Lamb
Skewers, Chops, Whole Lamb, Leg Steak
Beef
Sliced Rump Steak, Fillet Steak, Dry-aged Bone in Strip, Barbecoa Burger, Short Rib
Chicken
Breat & Thigh, Beer Can Chicken, Spatchcocked Poussin

They also have a couple of fish platters that look pretty great!!
