Hi everyone! Recently talked to Paul Goulden about getting some wood for a smoker I made and he said you guys would probably love to have a look so here I am, and here's the link:

Hope you enjoy and hope I'm posting in the right thread.

Any critique welcome. This is my first smoker so hope to be a regular round these parts.

Impressive for a home build. Had you used it much?

Bloody amazing that! Puts most UDS builds to shame, but you've definitely got the skills to make a project like that viable.

Thanks Dan ;)

I must admit, I'm really happy with how it turned out. Proof's in the pudding though. Hopefully will have some pulled pork ready for Sunday lunch!

Ah, just posted on your other thread. The BBQ looks great.

Let us know how it goes and how easily you're able to regulate temperature on it.

How did it go? Or did the weather put paid to it like it did my mowing the lawn?

Bad weather is only a valid excuse for mowing the lawn ;)

Hey, sorry for the delay guys, just been absolutely mental with work.

It went well, amazingly stable on the temperature. Going to seal it up a touch round the cook chamber door though.

The pork, needed another hour or so I think. Almost, almost pulled pork. Didn't have time before the fathers day meal, but that said, the smoke ring was really good and the flavour was amazing.

The bark was a bit too spicy though, I'll ease off on the dry rub next time.
