This event sounds awesome and is only a 90 minute drive from Sunderland for me........does anyone know how to obtain tickets or is it an on the door type of event

Has anyone been before and if so, what can I expect (i.e music, competitions or just down to nitty gritty stalls and flesh)

Sorry for ignorance, but never been to festivals, apart from those I create in the garden

JUst to check you meat Cartmel racecourse? If so i run www.ReadySteadyQ.co.uk there which is a grilling competition on ............... GAS! we have rounds for adults and kids (Kids Q) throughout Saturday and Monday. Its an official race weekend and there are about 10,000 people per day eating drinking, watching the races loosing money etc.

For the BBQ fanatics we also sell food via our Chicago Meatpackers brands which includes, pulled pork, brisket, Beef Ribs Chicken
