Postby slatts » 03 Jan 2014, 19:40

Hi

Is Harry coming back this year??

Just got a couple of friends wanting to do the course.
I know theres a Weber one but as Harry was that good, I learnt loads, I thought id ask here first, Is it early for you to announce him coming? I thought it was before xmas you normally mentioned if he was coming over.

Thanks

I havent asked yet as he has been incredibly busy and only managed to get over for 3 nights last year. Will send him an email in a week or so and see how his schedule is looking this year.

Thanks Toby

I'll let them know nothing has been decided yet so they can keep their options open.

Harry Soo is the guy, Slap Yo Daddy BBQ is the team. Without saying anything in depth, he has an awesome teaching style and a very strange, BUT AWESOME, philosophy towards BBQ. Search for either Harry Soo or SYD on this forum and you'll read the comments. Granted he isn't "The winningest team in US BBQ" but he uses WSM's against teams using rigs costing tens of thousands of dollars and often beats them hands down, and usually places somewhere!!!!
Have a look at him on Facebook as well and you'll see his many students grouped around a swimming pool, so much so that Toby offered to blow up and fill his children's paddling pool in "homage" to Harry. ;)
