The 2013 UK Chilli Cook-off Championships now have the following qualifying events:-

Bedfordshire Chilli Cook-off - 8/9 June
North East England Chilli Cook-off - 7 July
Isle of Wight Chilli Cook-off - 27 July
Great Dorset Chilli Cook-off - 4 August
Reading Chilli Cook-off - 26 August
Upton Cheyney Chilli Cook-off - 7 September
Brighton Chilli Cook-off - 21 September

London Chilli Cook-off (Dates and Venue TBC)

1st prize for heats is £250 - Entry fee just £10

Winners will qualify for the UK Final later in the year. The 2013 UK Champions, sponsored by the UKCCA and saysausages.com, will win a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, including flights and accommodation to represent the UK at the World Food Championships!! The prize purse for the Chilli competition is a whopping $25000!

Yup, I believe I'll be going. Possibly competing as well. (Need to use up that pure capsium crystal).

Normally we would have gone, but we will be a Brands Hatch for the weekend.

Think I'll be taking part in the Brighton one. Really looking forward to it!

Me and the missus met the guys from Upton Cheyney Chili yesterday at North Somerset Agriculteral show yesterday. Lovely guys, he was telling us about the competition and my other half cooksan amazing chilli so we might enter

We've registered our interest in Upton this year but haven't heard anything back.....?
