Would there be takers?

Postby CyderPig » 16 Mar 2013, 14:48

Hi All
Just a thought?
Would anyone be interested in a Backyard/Tailgate type event at my farm, B+B local or camp on the ground.
Not a competition just showcase your stuff.
BBQ's, Kids, strange BBQ afflicted people welcome?
Plenty fun, Plenty food, Plenty Cyder, Good people and lots of good natured foodie type fun?

First thoughts.
What a brilliant idea.
Just fun.
How many tents could you cope with.
Not sure how I would move the BBQ equip though..

How many tents do you want? The Orchard could host 70 tents ish? Toilet, no showers as yet, get to park the cars close to the tents.
Just an idea, but it would be fun!
I would like to make this happen!

Si.
Only the one, but I have know idea what sort of size of land you have.
I didnt know what size you were "planning" on, half a dozen people, or more.
Dont need a shower, have portable toilet. Havent been camping for a long time, tent could do with an airing.
Its a good idea, lets see what other people think, and then may be come up with a date.
Fair play to suggesting it.
Derek.

Lets see what people think, doesn't matter if its 5 or 20 or more, it would be a great way to cook , meet up and have fun without it being competition based, just Q, chill and have fun.

Sounds good, although silly season is soon to begin for me, and the likely hood of being free when the majority are is minimal!!

Sounds like a great idea and very generous to offer to host a gathering on your land, we'd definitely like to attend and put faces to names, I've just measured and my UDS fits a treat in our people carrier :)
