Just spoke to SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED!
This can be a go!!
I do not want dates to conflict with other events.
Looking at June/July as possible.
It would have to be a weekend, of course.
Let's have some thoughts.

You in a band then Ben?

Might be interesting for Si to see how much the Redhillbillies would charge to perform if they were fed good BBQ ? That's the band that played for Si & Co on CDWM ;)

I just have to say a big Thank You to Simon and his family for putting up with us on Thursday (would have posted yesterday but had catch-up from work). Now there is a point to make with this post and that is we had lunch at Si's local pub and by local I mean walk down his field to where the "Party" will be held, through the gate, walk maybe 50 yds. and you are there. Nice selection of local beers & ciders 8-) , Tipple on tap of course 8-) , and it is quite a big pub so would accommodate a large gathering. Should anything go wrong the menu is quite varied and they have a proper cook and no retort meals. Part of the reason for going down was to stock up on local lamb & pork as his normal meat supplier didn't turn up we got the pork from the farmer we'd ordered the half lamb from. The lamb was sweet and tasty, the pork (saddleback I was told) was what pork should taste like.
If there are enough takers, and the price is right maybe Si can organise some Pork & Lamb for the "do".

:D. Just to let you know Si I am moving in. You live in the best part if the country live on a farm and are staggering distance from a pub. Hopefully something materialises with this idea. Be good for a novic like me to meet people for tips and advice
