As you seem to be local. Where is the closest station? The paddle pier web site is not very clear.

I am not getting there until Sunday for the judging.

Tom

I answered that question for you yesterday. :(

For what it's worth, Google Maps Directions have the walk from Brighton station as a few minutes quicker, especially as the entrance is at the East end of Hove Lawns.

Sounds great John. Thanks.

There's also Cask on Middle Street, which is a fantastic beer venue for any craft beer nuts. I look forward to trying to run away from Toby's lists of instructions and make it there on Friday. ;)

I think that we've overlooked the most important question.

Where is the closest place to the competition pitches that we can get a good bacon butty from? ;)

I can put myself up for that and Volunteer for that one, free of charge of course. Why go spending your hard earned money?

I notice that we will not be on grass so I don't know if anyone has thought about gazebo weights.

We're planning bags for life filled with pebbles (of which there are plenty)

Yeah we're going to lash the gazebo to the van and then fashion some weights out of pebbles or water carriers.

Failing that Neil will have to hod the bugger down

So are we going to meet up on Friday night at the Globe for a bit of a pre-contest drinky?

That way we can line our stomach with some BBQ Shack as well :D
