Are we hitting the beer Friday night? :D

Ha ...I was just coming on to post the exact same thing. :D
Traffic permitting we should be there anywhere after 7 I would think so a visit to the beer fairy sounds good.

It's probably going to be half eight before we get there so we'll be spitting feathers by that point

If you could this would be a great help as although i'm ok to drop everything off on Friday, i've then got to go home and pickup Emma Saturday lunchtime so i'll need somewhere to park!

Ok, so i started making a map then thought, why reinvent the wheel - http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/index.c ... t=c1245134 - anything not in a zone is free afaik - nothing around the town centre i'm afraid, but the buses are great and linked with google maps on the iphone so you can get from A2B easily.

Personally, I'll probs be sticking our van in elm grove and catching the #25 bus or driving it home and cycling back (although that's 10 miles and it depends how active i'm feeling!)

Mr Penguin (or anyone else who knows Brighton)

As you seem to be local. Where is the closest station? The paddle pier web site is not very clear.

I am not getting there until Sunday for the judging.

I'd say it's about a 15-20 min walk from Brighton Station or about a 10-15min walk from Hove, but you'd have to change at Brighton anyway.
